Yellow Peril

Room installation with 5 slide projectors and 400 images; in collaboration with Cat Tuong Ngyuen, 2001

This work was conceived and realized together with Cat Tuong Nguyen during our coincidental simultaneous Paris artist residencies: I represented the city of Zurich and Nguyen, the canton of Zurich. Based on the infamous expression The Yellow Peril, we wandered around Paris with an automatic camera and a tripod in order to capture the irony of this expression. We photographed ourselves with anything we found in the city which was yellow. The 400 slides were then shown with 5 slide projectors in a room installation in Zurich.
